They are now looking for a proven senior sales person with an entrepreneurial and outgoing character to sell a suite of Equities services ( Indices, Research & Analytics,  etc..) and Index products to the Buy Side financial institutions in the UK .  

Your role: this is a unique SENIOR  sales and account management position that includes all aspects of business development (all aspects of client-facing activity from cold calls to roll out of products), Sales and account management. The candidate will be the main driver of revenue acquisition for the company's whole range of products . Emphasis on new business .  

Minimum Requirements: 

ˇ         Proven 5-10+ years of  sales experience from a data, financial software or banking background

ˇ         Knowledge and experience of capital markets and especially OTC derivatives and/or structured credit 

ˇ         Ability to present and negotiate  with senior level management whilst in many cases, managing  complex sales process

ˇ         Must be organized and ability to manage multiple sales in parallel (30+ at any one time)

This is a role for a Senior Sales Executive with good knowledge of risk management principles, specifically with respect to traded Market and Credit risk. We would like to hear from risk management professionals with a proven track record in enterprise software sales to sell-side institutions within Germany, Italy or Benelux /Scandinavia . This role will focus on selling their market leading software for the pricing and analysis of exotic options and the risk management of large, complex portfolios. Clients include global Tier One banks, central banks, hedge funds, and investment firms.

You will need to have a broad understanding of the investment bank trading process, particularly relating to derivative trading and with an understanding of risk management principles, specifically with respect to traded Market and Credit risk, and associated regulation.
Successful candidates will be responsible for generating new business sales revenue from software licencing and services sales within their region.

 As a  high calibre candidate, and in order to be successful in your application you will need to have:

• A solid educational background ideally to degree level or higher
• A broad understanding of the investment bank trading process, particularly relating to derivative trading and risk management
• A good understanding of risk management principles, specifically with respect to traded Market and Credit risk, and associated regulation
